While we began as a CSR consultancy, aligning businesses with societal causes and ensuring investments went beyond compliance, we later transitioned into a strategic alliance builder, bringing together public, private, and philanthropic stakeholders to solve pressing societal challenges. We established and managed 5 alliances which are collectively impacting 7 million individuals from underserved communities, across financial inclusion, healthcare, livelihood, water and sanitation.
Our organization is a leading impact-driven enterprise delivering high-quality CSR programs, flagship social initiatives, and fund management projects that create meaningful change across communities. With annual revenue of INR 75 crores and direct impact on 300,000 participants, we are seeking a skilled relationship builder to strengthen our client partnerships and drive business growth.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Associate Director – Client Relationship to lead our client engagement strategy, portfolio management, and revenue growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will build and nurture strong client relationships, drive revenue growth through strategic account management, and ensure high client satisfaction while aligning with our impact objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management and Business Growth
- Drive INR 30cr revenue through strategic account management with 95% client retention and 20% annual growth in key accounts
- Develop and implement comprehensive account plans that convert annual CSR projects into higher-value flagship engagements
- Establish executive-level relationships with client decision-makers through structured engagement calendars and quarterly business reviews
- Identify and capitalize on cross-selling and upselling opportunities across the organization’s service portfolio
Client Satisfaction and Engagement
- Maintain CSAT scores above 4/5 with 24-hour resolution of escalations and implementation of 7-day feedback loops
- Move clients to higher-value engagement quadrants through strategic relationship mapping and value demonstration
- Ensure 100% on-time delivery of client reports, certificates, and critical communications
- Develop and showcase client success stories through case studies, award nominations, and industry recognition opportunities
Impact Communication and Alignment
- Translate complex program impact metrics into compelling client-relevant narratives that demonstrate SROI
- Secure clients buy-in for multi-intervention approaches by aligning organizational capabilities with client CSR objectives
- Bridge communication between clients and implementation partners to ensure smooth program execution
- Leverage participant impact data to strengthen client relationships and justify program continuity or expansion
Technology Adoption and Client Innovation
- Drive 70%+ client adoption of technology dashboards and data platforms through personalized onboarding and value demonstration
- Collect, prioritize, and champion client feedback to improve technology offerings and user experience
- Showcase technology capabilities as competitive differentiators in client proposals and reviews
- Co-develop innovative client engagement approaches that leverage data insights for program enhancement
Team Development and Knowledge Management
- Mentor client managers through structured coaching, performance reviews, and skill development initiatives
- Document and standardize best practices in client relationship management for organizational knowledge sharing
- Create comprehensive case studies that capture both relationship strategies and business outcomes
- Contribute to organizational capability building through training sessions and process improvements
Skills Required
- 10-15 years of experience with at least 5 years in client relationship management roles
- Proven track record of managing and growing key accounts
- Experience in the development sector, CSR, or related fields
- Strong understanding of social impact programs and metrics
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in proposal development and client negotiations
- Understanding of program delivery and impact measurement
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred
