About ONDC

ONDC is an open-source network for digital commerce which intends to “democratise digital commerce” by carving a level-playing field for the e-commerce giants and the small sellers. It is looked upon as the UPI for e-commerce having the capability to fuel the growth of the e-commerce market in India. In the ONDC network, sellers can voluntarily choose to display their products and services throughout the platforms and apps which have joined the same. This initiative will not only facilitate the rapid adoption of e-commerce but also boost and strengthen the growth of start-ups in India. By facilitating scalable and cost-effective e-commerce through the open protocol, ONDC will empower start-ups to grow collaboratively.

Role Overview:

The E-Commerce Specialist will be responsible for building an E-commerce seller network on the ONDC platform ranging across categories like retail, food processing, handicrafts, handlooms, Apparel, Agriculture, Farmers, Electronics. The incumbent will be responsible for collaborating with multiple stakeholders to manage all aspects of the E-Commerce seller network on the ONDC platform and will also oversee brand management, product management, product marketing, business planning, content strategy and development.

Job Description

  1. Drive and deliver growth and marketing campaigns focused on getting the sellers to the platform and take ownership of identifying, onboarding, executing and scaling up of the model, and building use cases.
  2. Design digital marketing and social media campaigns aimed at MSME’s to build awareness, credibility and trust.
  3. Will be responsible for driving the seller network participant participation, revenue growth, retention, engagement and scaling up of the seller network on the platform.
  4. Focus on development and execution of strategic plan with all the actors in the network
  5. Manage seller network participant experience on the platform including seamless onboarding, easy navigation, content development, promotional campaigns, etc.
  6. Provide expertise on latest trends and best practices in the e-commerce space
  7. Oversee the day to day business needs on the platform, focus on all areas of digital operations, merchandising, creating a positive selling experience, and support the sellers to be platform ready.
  8. Design, Execute and track performance marketing campaigns for several sellers on ONDC network
  9. Will closely work with both all the stakeholders to articulate software and integration requirements to support the marketplace vision.
  10. Work with the team of developers, tech experts by giving them detailed specifications, engage in continuous assessment and planning to ensure that the platform is configured in line with the requirement and is tested to meet the needs of the seller network.
  11. Build and manage acquisition campaigns across various channels including social, SEM, and display to drive revenue and increase ROI.
  12. Analyze and optimize campaign performance based on data-driven insights and strategy using quantitative analysis.
  13. Identify marketing performance issues and pinpoint the root cause analysis with the help of analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  14. Effectively communicate complicated analyses by developing easy-to-use reporting or visualization dashboards (demand funnel, marketing planning and budgeting, marketing ROI, operational efficiency, campaign impact, awareness, events, and strategic KPIs).
  15. Understand new and relevant KPI metrics requirements for performance management and optimization purposes.
  16. Work with creative and marketing teams to test strategies and innovation.
  17. Deliver quantifiable improvements in ROI and cost per conversion (CPA) across all channels.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • 10 to 12 years of experience in handling large ecommerce projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of e-commerce ecosystem and hands on experience leveraging technology will be preferred
  • Post-Graduation degree in E commerce, Marketing or related field from reputed college
  • Outstanding analytical skills, strong experience in interpreting data, consumer insights
  • Strong business judgement and decision making skills, ability to prioritize and articulate plans and initiatives
  • Ability to transform complex concepts into simple and executable plans to improve customer experience.
  • Ability to work through ambiguity in a fast-paced, changing business environment.

    Job Description

    1. Work on end-to-end program management – Strategy design, implementation and program monitoring for projects.
    2. Prepare customized proposals per the requirement of the corporates/grant giving agencies
    3. Bring together multiple stakeholders, especially the government, companies, implementation partners and international aid agencies
    4. Ensure effective and efficient program monitoring; reporting processes are in place and implemented for all program activities
    5. Work with the program implementation team to make sure every project being implemented (and developed) has a Log Frame or Results Framework.
    6. Ensure that lessons, learning and research around program quality is carried out and used for program quality improvement
    7. Ensure optimal coordination and collaboration of team members with relevant teams and contribution to relevant organizational initiatives
    8. Lead the development, adaptation, testing and mainstreaming of best/good practices in needs assessment, project design, implementation, M & E, and research
    9. Independently manage external stakeholder conversations with corporates as well as implementation partners
    10. Work with existing processes/systems whilst making constructive suggestions for improvements.

    Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

    • 8+ years of experience of having worked in the development sector

        Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

        1. At least 7 years of work experience in Marketing and Communications.
        2. Experience of working with senior leaders with the ability to generate and communicate unique value propositions.
        3. Good stakeholder management skills and good communication skills are a must.
        4. Basic Digital marketing knowledge and experience are required for the role to coordinate with the agency on Digital marketing campaigns, build reports & analysis, evaluate & optimize the funnel, etc.
        5. Social sector experience would be a bonus.
        6. An understanding of customers’ needs and how to meet those needs.

            Head of Content will be responsible for creating high level and transformational content strategy based on the business objectives of the organization. The role will be responsible for overseeing and developing content requirements both short and long term across the life cycle of different projects, and deliver high level, authentic and impactful content. Content Head is also accountable for planning, creation, curation of content by brainstorming creative ways of engaging with diverse audience across the ecosystem.

            Responsibilities

            • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, identifying potential risks and advising on enhancing stakeholder transparency.
            • Complete checking of financial records of both the parties before and after the program is implemented.
            • Accountable to put a detailed framework in place that will help the teams to measure the impact and deliverables outlined in the project.
            • Ensuring all the necessary compliance, approvals, terms and conditions, approval mechanism, payment plan, etc is in place and as per the guidelines of the CSR norms.
            • To check and give an assessment on the organizations management of its human resources and their impact on CSR and how effectively the resources are allocated.
            • Examining controls and practices in place, review mechanism, processes in place and to what extent they are in line with the current best practices.

            Skills Sets

            • Ideal candidate would be someone who has an accounting degree with hands on 8-10 years of experience handling audits, due diligence in the CSR space.
            • Though understanding of the CSR norms and industry best practices is a must.
            • Must have done due diligence independently for mid to large projects.
            • Ability to work under less supervision and tight deadlines.
            • Experience with CSR norms, regulations and exceptions within the act. Additionally, along with financial expertise must have an understanding of legal compliance. Should also be comfortable in presenting the findings to the client.

              Role Overview:

              Head of Content will be responsible for creating high level and transformational content strategy based on the business objectives of the organization. The role will be responsible for overseeing and developing content requirements both short and long term across the life cycle of different projects, and deliver high level, authentic and impactful content. Content Head is also accountable for planning, creation, curation of content by brainstorming creative ways of engaging with diverse audience across the ecosystem.

              Roles & Responsibilities

              • Developing and executing content strategy that aligns with the overall business goals
              • Generating engaging content for websites, social platforms, thought leadership pieces, and other marketing collaterals.
              • Will be the custodian of the entire content and managing the creation process from ideation till implementation.
              • Establish and maintain agreed standards and guidelines and ensuring consistency of brand guidelines, brand voice, style across all content.
              • Create comprehensive content plan by collaborating with cross functional and core teams and design an annual plan and execute it within the agreed timelines.
              • Consistently monitor, measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and propose ways to improve future content and engagement plans.
              • Look at existing trends, content gaps, client and partner preferences and design plan that will showcase the work done and also create playbooks \ case studies that can be shared with clients \ partners and other key stake holders.

              Qualifications, Skills & Experience

              • Post Graduate degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field with at least 10 years of experience in leading content and design for a mid to large scale organization.
              • Extensive experience with content creation, design, planning, building strategy and content marketing preferred.
              • Exemplary interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills preferred.
              • Excellent planning and management skills to oversee large projects, multiple campaigns with tight timelines.
              • Hands on experience using email marketing and social media marketing.
              • Ability to work with diverse teams and in a fast changing environment.
              • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment will be a key success metric.

                Qualifications, Skills & Experience

                • At least 3-5 of work experience in content writing or copywriter.
                • Worked as a journalist would be added advantage.
                • Strong experience of working with senior leaders with the ability to generate and communicate unique value propositions. An understanding of customers’ needs and how to meet those needs. Practices attentive and active listening and can accurately restate the opinions of others even he/ she disagrees.
                • Stellar planning and organizing skills, with good time management skills and the ability to prioritize amidst various sometimes conflicting priorities. Excellent team working skills, with proven contribution to team goals and objectives.
                • Speed, flexibility, and adaptability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
                • Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
                • Journalism or PR background is required. Not just social media content writers.
                • Some social sector or associated sector background is preferred.

                  Roles & Responsibilities

                  • Be the Marcom-SPOC across our stakeholders from CSR companies, to Alliance partners, to implementation partners, to internal implementation teams.
                  • Take ownership of the Comms planning & delivery, supporting brand building and awareness initiatives across the board. Provide communications support to donors and partners and drive co-branded campaigns to drive interest and engagement including social media posts, impact stories, articles, and online/offline events.
                  • Plan and execute events with end-to-end ownership to increase brand visibility & engage with various stakeholders with the necessary sensibilities.
                  • Create and support Digital marketing campaigns that effectively reinforce and build the brand image as and when required including decks, social media, impact stories, scripts, articles, and online/offline events.
                  • Enhancing the organization’s share of voice (SOV) and media presence.
                  • Leverage present partnerships and forge new strategic partnerships to augment brand reach and awareness.
                  • Consistently conduct industry and competitor research to identify the latest trends and help the team stay ahead of the curve.
                  • Creating communication for leadership: This will include ad hoc communication for Samhita, which comprises of presentations, speeches, and soft pointers. The leadership usually has at least one engagement every two weeks.

                  Qualifications, Skills & Experience

                  • At least 7 years of work experience in Marketing and Communications.
                  • Experience of working with senior leaders with the ability to generate and communicate unique value propositions.
                  • Good stakeholder management skills and good communication skills are a must.
                  • Basic Digital marketing knowledge and experience are required for the role to coordinate with the agency on Digital marketing campaigns, build reports & analysis, evaluate & optimize the funnel, etc.

                    Context

                    Frontier Health Markets (FHM) Engage is a global cooperative agreement designed to provide technical assistance (TA) supporting local actors to improve the ability of health markets to meet supply-side capacity gaps and consumer preferences and contribute to equitable provision of and access to high-quality family planning (FP) and other health services and
                    products in mixed health systems.

                    FHM Engage is working with Collective Good Foundation (CGF, an implementation arm of Samhita) as sub-recipient, to forge a Women’s Health and Livelihood Alliance (WOHLA) in India made up of corporations, industrial association and development partners committed to strengthening stewardship efforts to improve access, ensuring the quality and affordability of healthcare products and services including sexual and reproductive health (SRH) care, ensuring equity and economic security for women, mobilizing private sector resources for targeted initiatives for women’s health and livelihood, and facilitating enabling ecosystems for greater collaboration between the private sector and government which can build women’s agency to make decisions related to healthy timing and spacing of pregnancies (HTSP).

                    In addition to creating the Alliance, CGF will serve as the secretariat for the Alliance and program manager for the activities and interventions to perform key market facilitation roles and support high-impact partnerships to increase access to Women’s Health services and products. CGF is recruiting and hiring sufficient number of staff with the appropriate skills mix and expertise for organizing and carrying multiple activities simultaneously; to develop work plans and budgets, and monitoring work plan activities against budgets, and ensuring consistent and regular communication across alliance members.

                    Job Description

                    The incumbent will manage & support the program management and delivery of the entire Health projects at Samhita-CGF. Will support the lead to design programs, monitor and assess program, track progress against set key deliverables and identify key risks and opportunities. Will work towards achieving sustainable, transformational change at scale by working in a way that strengthens health systems and various stake holder capabilities to improve FP \ SRH outcomes within the country.

                    Job Responsibilities

                    • Ensure that WOHLA/Health programs integrate innovative methods and promote state-of-the-art technical approaches that reflect latest evidence, best practices, emerging priorities and trends in the field of FP/RH.
                    • Contribute to the planning and implementation of public health outreach and education programs and events, including high-level visits for GOI and USG staff.
                    • Support in Designing, implementing and evaluating sound and cost-effective interventions aimed at increasing use of quality family planning services expanding contraceptive choices, and addressing gender norms through WOHLA’s various projects.
                    • Strengthen network and partnership development on FP/RH interventions, working with a variety of stakeholders to explore synergies and leverage resources, and forging collaborations with donors and private sector.
                    • Responsible for program implementation team to make sure every project being
                      implemented (and developed) has a Log Frame or Results Framework.
                    • Collaborate with other alliances, social impact investors, and development partners I overlapping thematic areas.
                    • Manage & support and operationalize the WoHLA/Health Projects to serve as platform and market place for women’s health with an explicit purpose to mobilize resources for access to finance opportunities for livelihood and implementation of women’s health programs.

                    Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

                    • 7+ years of experience of having worked in the health projects.
                    • A Master of Public Health degree.
                    • Knowledge of public health issues in one or more of the following: family planning,
                      reproductive health, adolescent health, maternal and child health, gender.
                    • Familiarity and understanding of USAID policies and procedures (highly preferred), or those of other donors, donor funded projects, community- based projects, or corporate social responsibility projects.
                    • Understanding of private sector market-based models, total market approach, social marketing.
                    • Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
                    • Fluency in English and preferably in Hindi.
