Common Service Centres

Common Service Centres (CSC) will serve as the point of convergence in strengthening the ecosystem of a village by leveraging community participation and to enable growth and holistic development.

Multi-Dimensional Community Empowerment Index Pillars Of Empowerment

Samhita envisions interventions contributing to community development within the framework of the following three dimensions

Social

Developing a sense of autonomy and self-confidence, and acting individually and collectively to change social relationships and the institutions and discourses that excludepeople and keep them in poverty

Economic

Allow economically deprived people to think beyond immediate daily survival, to build assets and resources that enable exercise control over both their resources and life choices

Digital

Digital empowerment is a multi-phased process to gain better networking, communication and cooperation opportunities, and to increase the competence of individuals and communities to act as influential participants in the information society

Interventions for Increasing Income of the CSC Village Entrepreneur

Social Security

Access to affordable sanitary napkins for girls and women. Strives to achieve improved health and participation of girls and women in all spheres of life.

Bal Vidyalaya Childcare Centres

Enabling existing Bal Vidyalayas to offer childcare services and setting up of new centres. These centres will be responsible for providing framework for Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE), capacity building for childcare & supervision, and for educators; building digital infrastructure, healthcare and enabling parents and community for childcare.

Financial Inclusion and Literacy

Strives to facilitate blended learning through a framework based on the government NSFE policy 2020-25 that will be monitored by CSC. Enabling financial inclusion and literacy through educational modules, learning materials and resources, financial training to the youth & village entrepreneurs, and capacity building to monitor this initiative.

Access to Credit

Unlocking existing credit guarantees to deliver REVIVE interventions to aligned customers , and set up new credit guarantee facilities to lend to “First to Credit” borrowers. Providing a network of training and funding institutions linked to the MSME sector, with a special focus on women entrepreneurs.

One District One Product

A platform for enabling holistic, socio-economic growth across regions to increase income and entrepreneurship opportunities through strengthening market linkages, providing better access to products and services, aligning local resources, and supporting entrepreneurs financially with returnable grants and credit guarantee.

Skill Centres: Improving Employability Skills in the Community

To advance vocational education and training for youth and women to develop professional competencies for the future workforce, and foster social and economic development of local communities

Digital Inclusion and Literacy

Access to online digital training programs and certifications for different users from the community through the CSC centre, especially focusing on women, youth and elderly population.

Spoken Tutorials

Enabling rural India talent with quality & affordable IT skills for equal opportunities in the new digitized world. Access to a range of IT Skills for the youth from basics of computers to high-end software training.

Sanitary Napkin Kiosks

Access to affordable sanitary napkins for girls and women. Strives to achieve improved health and participation of girls and women in all spheres of life.
