Proof of the climb

The pandemic hit daily wage earners, small business owners, and service providers hardest, most of them women with no cushion left to fall back on. REVIVE, one of India's largest livelihood alliances, was designed and led by Samhita-CGF to rebuild those livelihoods at scale. Five anchor funders co-created it, and 24 more backed it. USD 3 million in philanthropic capital brought in USD 15 million more from corporates, raising USD 18 million in total. Median revenues for supported micro-entrepreneurs rose around 180% within a few months. REVIVE was named Best CSR Project for COVID Response Impact at the CSR Universe Awards 2021.
